Referral Disclosure

Last updated: 2026. This disclosure explains how PaySaver is paid and how referrals work.

The short version

PaySaver is free for you to use. We may be paid by a provider or partner if a referral we make leads to a product being taken up. This is not personal financial advice, and you always choose whether to proceed.

About this disclosure

This Referral Disclosure explains how PaySaver is paid and how referrals work. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, our Financial Services Disclosure and the terms of any provider you deal with.

How PaySaver is paid

PaySaver is free for you to use. We may receive a referral fee, commission or other benefit from a provider, broker, insurer or partner when a referral we make leads to a product or service being taken up. The amount and structure of this benefit varies between partners and may be a fixed fee, a percentage, or another form of remuneration.

What this means for you

Because we may be paid by partners, this can create a conflict of interest. We aim to be transparent about it. The savings plan and any figures we show you are general information, not personal financial advice, and you should always consider your own circumstances and compare your options before acting.

How referrals are built

When you choose to review a savings option in your PaySaver Plan, you are asking us to build a referral. We pass the details you provide, such as your name, contact details and the category you selected, to relevant providers or partners so they can contact you with options, pricing and eligibility information.

We do not act on behalf of providers

PaySaver is not an agent, representative or adviser of the providers, brokers or partners we refer you to, and we do not act on their behalf. Once we pass your details to a provider, we have no control over how that provider handles your information, how they price their products, or the service they give you. Each provider is responsible for its own products, pricing, advice and conduct, and their own terms and privacy policy will apply to your dealings with them.

Your choices

You decide whether to proceed with any referral. You can decline a referral, ask us not to share your details, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing paysaver.au@gmail.com.

We may not compare every provider

We may not compare every provider available in the market, and the options we highlight are not a recommendation of any particular provider. You are free to source your own quotes elsewhere at any time.

No guarantee of savings

Any potential saving shown is an indicative estimate only. Your actual outcome will depend on available products, your eligibility, provider pricing and your personal circumstances, and may differ from the estimate shown.

Financial Services Disclosure

PaySaver is a customer referral service, not a financial adviser. This disclosure explains what we do, what we do not do, and what to consider before acting on any option shown to you.

The short version

We give you general information and, where you ask us to, pass your details to a provider. We are not licensed to give personal financial or credit advice, we do not supply any energy, telco, insurance or lending product, and we may be paid a referral fee by the provider. Always read the provider's own disclosure documents before you decide.

Our role

PaySaver is a customer referral and lead-generation service operated in Australia (ABN 15 680 834 242). We help you identify household expenses that may be worth reviewing and, where you authorise it, connect you with participating providers.

We do not provide personal advice

The information on this website, and any result, saving estimate or comparison produced by the PaySaver Check, is general information only. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not personal financial product advice or personal credit advice. Before acting on it, consider whether it is appropriate for you and read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Target Market Determination (TMD) provided by the product issuer.

Who provides the products

Electricity, gas, telecommunications, insurance, credit and lending products are supplied by third parties. Any advice about those products is given by the licensed provider or its authorised representative, not by PaySaver. We do not issue, arrange, hold or administer any financial product or credit contract, and we do not act as an agent of any provider.

Credit and lending

PaySaver does not provide credit assistance and does not act as a credit representative or broker. If you choose to review a loan, mortgage or credit product, you will deal directly with the licensed lender or broker. That lender or broker will assess your application under its own policies and its responsible lending obligations, and it alone decides whether to approve credit.

How we are paid

PaySaver may receive a referral fee, commission or other commercial benefit when a provider you have authorised contacts you and a product or service is taken up. These payments help fund the PaySaver service and vary between partners. This creates a conflict of interest, which is why we disclose it here and on our Referral Disclosure page.

No endorsement and no guarantee of savings

A referral payment does not mean PaySaver has independently verified that a provider offers the cheapest or most suitable option. Any savings figure shown is an indicative estimate based on the information you give us. It is not a quote, an offer or a guarantee, and actual outcomes depend on available products, your eligibility, provider pricing and your circumstances.

We may not compare every provider

PaySaver works with a limited panel of participating partners and may not compare every provider available in the Australian market. You are always free to source your own quotes or compare offers elsewhere.

No charge to you

There is no charge to use the PaySaver Check. PaySaver is funded by the referral payments described above.

Your choices and consent

You decide whether to request a referral. You can decline a referral, ask us not to pass your details to a provider, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing paysaver.au@gmail.com. If your details have already been passed to a provider, please also contact that provider directly.

Complaints

If you have a concern about our service or a referral, contact us at paysaver.au@gmail.com. Complaints about a product, its pricing or the conduct of a provider should be raised with that provider directly, or referred to its external dispute resolution scheme, such as the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), where applicable. Privacy concerns are covered in our Privacy Policy.

If you need personal advice

If you need advice about your own financial situation, speak to a licensed financial adviser or a licensed credit adviser. If you are struggling with debt, free and confidential help is available from the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026. These terms govern your use of the PaySaver website and the PaySaver Check. Please read them before using the service.

The short version

Use the PaySaver Check honestly and only for your own household. The results are general information, not personal advice. When you ask for a referral we share your details with the provider you chose, and that provider is responsible for its own products and service.

About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PaySaver website and the PaySaver Check. PaySaver is operated and trading as PaySaver, ABN 15 680 834 242. In these terms, PaySaver, we, us and our refer to that business. By using the website or submitting your details, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and an Australian resident to use the PaySaver Check. If you use the service on behalf of another person or a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

What the PaySaver Check is

The PaySaver Check is a free, self-guided questionnaire. It produces indicative household expense results from the figures you enter and highlights categories that may be worth reviewing. It is an information tool only. It does not access your bills, retrieve your credit file, or affect your credit score.

Your information must be accurate

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. Results and referral options are generated from your inputs, so incorrect or incomplete figures will produce inaccurate results. Please do not submit passwords, banking logins or payment card details.

General information only

All content on this website, including results, estimates and comparisons, is general information. It is not personal financial product advice, credit advice, legal advice or tax advice, and it does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Please read our Financial Services Disclosure for more detail.

Referrals and third-party providers

When you ask us to build a referral, we pass the details you provide to the provider or participating partner you have selected so they can contact you with options, pricing and eligibility information. Once your details are passed on, that provider's own terms and privacy policy apply, and the provider alone is responsible for the products it supplies and the service it gives you. PaySaver may receive a referral fee from that provider.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaySaver is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website or from any product or service supplied by a third-party provider. PaySaver is not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing or conduct of participating providers.

Availability and changes to the service

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website or the PaySaver Check at any time without notice. We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free from error.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website. This includes submitting false or misleading information, attempting to interfere with the security or operation of the website, scraping or copying its content, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The PaySaver name, logo, branding and website content, including text, graphics and the PaySaver Check, are owned or licensed by PaySaver and protected by law. You may use the website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, republish or redistribute any content without our written permission.

Privacy and consent

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Referral Disclosure. By submitting information through the website, you consent to that handling, including the sharing of your details with a provider when you ask us to build a referral.

Third-party links and content

The website may contain links to third-party websites or information about third-party products. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, pricing, availability or privacy practices.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that part is severed and the remaining terms continue in full force.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and PaySaver submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services, technology or legal obligations. The current version is published on this page with its latest update date, and continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
